2 Night Okavango Safari
Trips starts Mondays and Wednesdays
Day 1: Maun to Lazy River
Departure from Maun at 2:45pm for a 1 and a half hour drive perhaps stopping briefly
near Shorobe to take on any guests returning on our vehicle returning from Moremi.
From there we head north to Lazy River camp in the Daonara area on the edge of the
Okavango. We at your riverside campsite in the late afternoon.
Your guide will give you a familiarisation tour and show you to your tents.
After enjoying a fire warmed shower you may sit back and watch the sun setting over a
lagoon full of hippos and crocodiles.
As the sun has finished setting we will serve you a 2 course dinner under the stars.
Day 2: Okavango with Mokoro and game walk
We wake on day 2 for a full cooked breakfast served at 6:00am and depart at 6:30am on
your safari vehicle for half hour drive to the mokoro station at Daonara.
We go out on the Mekoro at 8am for a couple of hours on the mekoro followed by a
couple of hour game walk.
After the game walk we enjoy a nice picnic spread back at the mekoro and a bit of
relaxation in a nice shady location.
At around 2pm we set off on a 1 hour downstream mokoro ride back to the mokoro
station and a half hour game drive drive back to your riverside campsite for another
warm shower and wonderful Okavango sunset.
Day 3: Lazy River to Maun/Moremi
Wake up in your own time and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea from the beach on the edge of
the lagoon. A leisurely breakfast is served between 7 and 8:30. The transfer vehicle
departs at 9:00 for an hour and a half drive back to Maun. For those heading onto our 3
night Moremi safari you will meet up with the vehicle heading to Moremi en-route.

3 Night Moremi Safari
Trips start Fridays
Day 1: Maun to Moremi
We will pick you up from your place of accommodation in Maun at a prearranged time
between 8:30 and 9:30
At 9:45 we set off for your 3 night safari to Moremi Game Reserve. When we reach
Shorobe (30 minutes out) we meet up with our vehicle coming from Lazy River camp if
we have any guests joining the safari from there. We arrive at South Gate Moremi by
midday.
From South Gate we head off on a slow game drive through the wildlife rich Western
flood plains of the Moremi Game Reserve. A picnic lunch in the Xinii area gives us a
break, we then head on to our camp in the 3rd Bridge area.
Arrival at the camp is at around 5:30pm here we find our meru tents set up ahead of us
and dinner preparations underway. Our staff will have heated water on the fire to fill
your bucket shower for you to enjoy at your leisure.
Each Meru tent will have an enclosure attached at the rear of the tent with a bush toilet
and shower.
Day 2: Full day in Moremi Game Reserve with boating
After an early breakfast we will go out for a full day game viewing with a packed picnic
lunch. At around 2:30pm we will go out on a 2 hour boat cruise from the Xakanaxa boat
station. We then head on a game drive back to camp.
Day 3: Full day in Moremi Game Reserve
On our last full day on safari we slow the pace down a bit. Rather than going out for a
full day game drive we go out for a morning game drive and an afternoon game drive
with sun downers. We return back to camp for lunch and a little relaxation.
Day 4: Drive from Moremi to Maun
A super early wake up and a dawn game drive, returning for a full cooked brunch. We
depart camp at 11:30am to be back in Maun by 4pm.
For those going on the 2 night Okavango they will meet up with the vehicle going to
Lazy River camp at 3:30pm near Shorobe village.

Inclusions:
Fees :
All park, concession and community fees. All guide, poler and boating fees. All game
drives and return road transfers from Maun to Lazy River and Moremi.
Accommodation :
Meru tent with a comfortable bedroll (with linen) on stretchers. Bedside table with lantern. An
enclosure will be attached at the back of tents with shower and toilet.
Meals :
Breakfast- tea, coffee, cereals, fruit and cooked breakfast
Lunch- salads, breads and spreads
Dinner- 2 courses (either starter and a main or a main and a dessert).
Drinks :
Drinking water, fruit juice (at breakfast) and wine (at dinner).
We provide a cooler and ice for any extra drinks you wish to take.
Our scheduled safaris will run with a minimum of 2 and Maximum of 8 pax.
For groups of 8 to 12 pax we will keep the safari private.
